Introduction

Silk Spiders have thickly carapaced, mottled green legs and large inner and outer mandibles that are a pastel golden hue

Feeding Habits

They feed on anyone or anything unfortunate enough to wander into their territory

Disposition and Social Habits

Known to co-habitate with other forms of giant spiders

Habitat

observed in the depths of the spider maze in the Underdark's second level, in the spider hive in the hot springs of Deglos near the Scar, and in the depths of the spider cave in the Borderlands of Elysia

Other notes

Intelligent and cunning, agile and deadly accurate, they hide well and watch their prey to ambush it, stunning their victims for an easy kill ((Assassin's death attack)). They are slightly resistant to fire and immune to some other elemental attacks, and have been known to make themselves partially insubstantial before initiating an attack ((Ghostly Visage))
