Introduction

As the name suggests, the Stun Spider stuns its prey and then attacks and consumes it. It has a variety of ways to do this, from it's poisons to its gazes that confuse, stun, and even paralyze and finally it's ominous aura, which has been known to stop adventurers in their tracks.

Feeding Habits

None listed.

Disposition and Social Habits

Often found in groups, these spiders cling to the walls or roof of the cave and descend on slender wires of silk to trap their prey. Working in groups they use their numbers and multiple attacks on their prey's mind and body until disabled and the brood can feed.

Habitat

Stun Spiders have only been found in the deeper parts of cave systems.

Fylgia

Most compatible: Wolf

  • It's a giant spider but it hunts in packs, is very social, and uses a variety of tactics that one does not normally see with solitary spiders.

Other notes

Craftier than one might expect from spiders, their use of group tactics and overwhelming force makes it hard to resist their stunning power. It only takes one mistake and one missed defense against their attack and dinner is served.
