Introduction

They are commonly found in large groups, inhabiting damp caves. Being smaller version of Sword spiders, their appendages are very sharp and can puncture their prey easily. Like all other spiders they are immune to mind spells, and though they do not spin webs themselves they seem to be immune to its effects.

Feeding Habits

They hunt in groups near their hatching ground and puncture their intended victims' skin with their sharp appendages to draw body fluid which is their primary source of nutrient, though they may feed on flesh if forced.

Disposition and Social Habits

Unlike most other spiders, they are not known to spin webs. However hunt in groups using their sharp appendages. It is unknown if they have any social structure, however they do hunt in groups. Possibly because that leads to advantage in overcoming tougher and larger creatures.

Habitat

Known to inhabit damp caves where other types of spiders are found with them. Though they inhabit relatively close to surface in my experience.

Fylgia

Most compatible: Giant Spider

  • Due to belonging in same species category

Other notes

Previously I have thought them to lack poison gland, but in recent observation when I stood naked for prolonged time among them. I found that they do indeed have poison. This makes them even more dangerous to those that do not have tough skin.
