O'Ma is one of the Nine Greater Alvissian gods, and along with Titania, is one of the creators of the fairy races of Avlis.

In addition to holding domain over his fairy races, O'Ma also holds domain as the god of the forests.

In the universe there exist objective forces of good, evil, law and chaos. O'Ma holds that most beings are inherently good, and it is easier to work on the side of goodness than it is to be on the side of evil. Completing good actions for others only strengthens that tendency and ensures that the balance of Good and Evil is maintained

At the core of O'ma's beliefs is the concept of the "greater good", and the surrender one's own desires to ensure that the greater needs of the universe are met. A follower of O'Ma is usually attuned to, and focused on the outside world and existence as a whole, not only one's own place within it. As such, we should never stop working towards a better world for those around us. One of the easiest ways to serve the greatest good is to always work towards helping and protecting those who surround you in your portion of the world.

Each person is unique, and followers of O'ma usually have a strong feeling for their own path through their own life. Different sets of moralities and ideals, all bound by one thing... the struggle toward the preservation and betterment of all of existence. The follower's moral code will be centered in serving the greater good, and tend to be flexible enough to adapt to any new circumstances that might arise in their own life's path.

O'Ma also teaches us that while it may take some time to determine if an action is good or evil, when the nature of the act does become clear then action must be taken. Evil is the only winner if those good of heart are unwilling to act. We should always be willing to stand up for what is right, and should always be willing to protect those who need our protection.

With this in mind, we are also taught that we should be patient and evaluate the whole picture before taking an action. It is important that in our rush to action we do not work against the good we are striving for. Even as we take an action we should always be aware of how the situation is changing around us. The right course at the start of the action might not be the best course when the situation has changed. Only after moving along a path can you see where the bends ahead of you are... and what new options will be presented to you. A follower of O'Ma should be aware of this and able to adapt as required. We should always be open to new paths as they present themselves.

Although, O'Ma teaches us to always strive to work for the greater good, his teaching also reminds us of the importance of some rules for society. After all anarchy does not serve the greater good! However, his teachings tell us that we should never allow this structure to come between us and doing what is right. The followers of O'Ma are likely to talk of the 'Spirit' rather then the 'Letter' of the law. While the laws are important to the existence of society, and smoothing relations and interactions between the people, The *words* used to express the Ideals must never be used by anyone as a blind shield for their actions that harm others or the existence of Avlis.

On the same note, it should be remembered that O'Ma believes that it is the goal that is important, and on occasion achieving this goal might require a path that Society, or the individual may feel uncomfortable with. Still, the Right path must be taken, to ensure the continued existence of Avlis, and to press onward to an even brighter future.
