The reference dates on Orleron's original timeline article were relative to 2000 A.O.D. However, the Avlis Calendar calculator suggests that the game year was 2050 A.O.D. when the Mikona server first went live, on 1 June 2002. Regarding this calculator, dates there are accurate up to 13 June 2005, when the flow of Avlis calendar time was adjusted from 2 minutes/hour to 4 minutes/hour. 1950 A.O.D.
Time period of Avlis Campaign 1 & 2 notes. Valok tries to enter world and is foiled. The Equalizer and Champion orders are formed. Angadar is rumored to have taken on the mantle of Deceit & Trickery upon the death of the goddess Tianna, killed by Mikon. Andrinor becomes a deity and takes the mantle of Magic and starts his church.
1900 A.O.D.
Time period of Avlis Campaign 0, where the players tried to get Angadar's daughter Jade away from Hell. The destruction of the Avariel city of Toostan, and most of the Avariel race. Drangonari elves take a portion of Drotid as their own.
1850 A.O.D.
Angadar's ascension to godhood.
1825 A.O.D.
Death of Kuras, collapse of the Kurathene Empire. Nemeril banishes O'Ma from the world with the "Godslayer". Angadar takes the Godslayer from Nemeril and rescues O'Ma, and returns the weapon to O'Ma for safe keeping.
1000 A.O.D.
The Age of Darkness. Not much is known about this period. Legend has it that the all-powerful counterpart to the Eternal Spark, the Black Dagger, was found and a god was destroyed with it. This is rumored to have touched off a devastating war between the gods and their followers.
80 A.O.D.
City of Mikona founded by tribes of M'Chekian humans.
1 A.O.D.
Beginning of Age of Peace.... many of the newer minor gods and minor races were created during this time. Immortals ran rampant.
1 P.O.D.
Orc mages create the huge explosion that ends the Great War and kills nearly everyone on the planet. The remaining orcs found the nations of Brekon and Dubunat on the west coast.
50 P.O.D.
Great War is just ending up. Mikon creates the evil dragons to enter the fray.
76 P.O.D.
Battle of Nireth Cove fought in T'Nanshi.
100 P.O.D.
The Great War begins when Orcs attack the warring fairy factions.
200 P.O.D.
The Fairy War starts.
500 P.O.D.
The nine major gods finish creating their races. (Time of the Dawning)
600 P.O.D.
The Negerai is destroyed.
1000 P.O.D.
The nine warriors and Negerai become greater gods and start fighting.
1005 P.O.D.
The spirits roaming Avlis are being slowly wiped out by the Tanar'ri infestation. This angers The Supreme, and he decides to free the nine warriors in an effort to save the world.
1010 P.O.D.
The nine warriors are captured by the Negerai and brought to Avlis. Their prisons are built and the Tanar'ri start to infest the planet.
1500 P.O.D.
Avlis is at peace. Nature gods roam.
2000 P.O.D.
The Supreme creates Avlis. (The Age of the Gods)
