Pages are numbered in base-5 numbering system. Page 231 (ie, page 42) is a self-portrait of the author, along with a symbol of Forian. Each other page has only a few entries, with pictures of the people, monsters, and animals in question, drawn in Celtic-style illumination such as seen in the Book of Kells.
