Above the Keep - By Lorelai Silvermoon Volume 19

Standing next to Cole and Finn as the group scans the maps on hand of the Southern Isles, Thaylis shows little outward emotion as he speaks with those clustered nearby. He agrees with Cole that a portion of the dragons and riders should fly south to support the operation, but defers to Cole and Finn's recommendations as to just how many are committed to the operation.

"We could use some of the 6th, Finn." Thaylis mentions to the Warmaster in a matter-of-fact tone.

Thaylis' eyes sweep over the map again, considering the details of the Pyrite Islands. The Hunter taps on the map with a single extended finger, indicating a small island several miles from the target island. "We'll link up with the Dragon Wing here at this island and then move toward the target together. I suspect if this is indeed Truth's hiding place, we'll need the air support more than ever, both during the landing and as we push inland. The stone dragons need to be kept from strafing our ground forces, at all costs. "

Thaylis continues to listen to the plans discussed amongst those in the room, he himself falling silent for several minutes as he considers several aspects of the operation. Nodding once to himself, the Brigadier steps away from the broad, stone table and makes his way into the city toward the portals and onward to Mikona.

He has much to set into motion.

Thorfinn mentions that he will pass along the invitation to the 6th for reinforcements and asks where he should tell them to meet. He confers with Cole on the dragon forces and agrees. He adds that it is undecided if Fair'rinth will be able to join them due to Hel'byssia's constant and necessary vigil. Thorfinn adds that the rest of the dragon forces that remain in Elysia should be put on alert, ready to defend Elysia or join the fight in the south at a moment's notice. His only odd and brief response to questioning looks is that if needed, he's been promised that the world would be moved for him.

Leaving it at that, Finn also discusses whether anyone knows what sort of kin Truth may be. If Truth is encountered, they will need a plan to keep the kin from escaping.

Cole briefly perks a brow at the prospect of moving Dragons in such an odd way ...

"... Fen, the beacons will be lit and those not soaring southward to meet with Thaylis' ships will be upon the walls here, ready to defend. Contacting them to join the fight may prove more difficult ... however, if Fairr does remain in vigil upon the peninsula ... with enough concentration you may be able to send message? She could see it to Elysia swiftly ...

Aside that, to see word for reinforcements we may have to hope for a waterfall ... or that the sun sits high, and that Sun can hear if we shout at the burning orb up there."

Taking a moment to consider and push a hand through his hair, he adds finally, "... Fire ... she is a fire kin. She uses light to her power with illusion and more. Such were the words of Dawn when we considered whether she may use kin bones ... to learn she is unable, being a fire kin."
