Moderation Leads to the Tomb
By Ashanar Sekor (Ash)
Moderation leads to the tomb
So sing and dance and let your life bloom
You know you're in trouble if you live in the past
Living like that will get you no where fast
Though it is nice to let your memories glow
Like your first taste of the cold falling snow
Life is a mountain and not easy to climb
Hold onto your dreams and make up your mind
New things lay beside the road you're on
You can't keep looking back, so say so long
Smell the roses you find here and there
Find your dreams can lead you anywhere
Over mountain travel in leaps and bounds
Or in a tunnel far deep underground
Moderation leads to the tomb
So sing and dance and let your life bloom
Life is a meal you cannot fast
Jump, dance and have a blast
Free your imagination and let it grow
Go and enjoy a minstrel's show
Find a love and let your lives intertwine
Life is a vein just waiting to be mined
Spread your wings and fly like a swan
Don't let yourself be anybody's pawn
There are stars that sparkle way up there
You can fly to them if you dare
Smell the rain as it falls down
Onto your face turning a smile from a frown
Moderation leads to the tomb
So sing and dance and let your life bloom
