There are many strange powers that have been uncovered on Avlis. Travelling scholars have noted that the existence of holy warriors for all the major gods is rarity. They have been hard pressed to find another realm where devout warriors other than goodly ones are granted powers by their gods.
Other types of strange powers that have manifested are rumored to come from spirits who have been "tainted" in some way.
