A bored student of the Melonius Mennallin School of the Arcane translates from the writings of Zero'dru'el Verwinovel:

It was well known that the Sisters often employed many 'tricks of the trade' to ascertain the nature of their client's problems and the resolution. The keen observations of Yoofeh and Nir'hirefya combined with Delenari's keen insight into the Nanshi heart often was all that was needed to solve the usual domestic and mundane nature of those that sought their wisdom. Indeed, any Romini matriarch with a crystal orb or laying of cards could have easily twisted and turned any of the 'Truth Seekers' into finding their own truths with as much aplomb as the Ju'Eir sisters could well have.

With the war becoming an increasing risk, and infringing more upon the world at large, more people came to the Three seeking more than the resolutions of love triangles or the the future an offspring. The questions became much more dire in nature. What will happen to me and the ones I love? Should I fight? Should I flee?

Perhaps in desperation to continue the deceptions and to put off any naysayers in an attempt to retain their reputations, the Three Sisters held a 'holy service'. The meaning of which was to convey to the Nanshi in the small village among the four great trees the future as the Fairy War crept ever more into the hearts and minds of the inhabitants. This is was was 'foretold' by the Three Sisters of the village of the Four Great Trees:

WE STOOD BEFORE THE GREAT TREE - THE HEART OF THE FOREST - AND WE WATCHED AS THE WORLD BEGAN TO GROW DARK - IT GREW DARK AND COLD- THE DARK AND THE COLD CREPT ACROSS THE WORLD KILLING ALL - FREEZING ALL- NOTHING COULD ESCAPE - NO LIGHT - NO BREATH - NO LIFE - ALL WAS DEATH AND COLD AND LONELINESS

WE LOOKED NORTH - AND IN THE NORTH WE SAW THE FAINTEST PULSE - THE FAINTEST SPARK

WE LOOKED SOUTH - AND FROM THE SOUTH CAME A GREAT SERPENT - THIS SERPENT CRAWLED THROUGH THE COLD AND DARK - THE ONLY WILL THAT COULD COME - THE WRITHING SERPENT PLACED THE LAST LEAF ON THE TREE IN THE HEART OF THE FOREST

FROM THE NORTH WE COULD SEE THE FAINTEST SPARK THROB AS A HEARTBEAT IN THE LAST SANCTUARY - AND THE SPARKS BEGAN TO SEEP TOWARD THE LEAF - AND THEY GATHERED FROM ALL THE CORNERS OF THE WORLD - FAINT AND THROBBING AS A WEAK AND FAILING HEART - THE SPARKS CAME FROM THE SEA AND FROM THE FORESTS - FROM THE MOON AND FROM THE SUN - FROM THE DAWN AND FROM THE SUNSET - FROM LOVE AND HOPE AND FROM THE VERY MOSS UPON THE STONES - FROM THE SNOW AND THE WATER - THE STORMS AND THE CLOUDS - THE LIFE AND UNLIFE - THE SPARKS CAME FROM THE FORETOLD AND THE UNTOLD AND FELL UPON THE BROWN AND WITHERED LEAF THE SERPENT HUNG ON THE GREAT TREE

AS WATER IN A GREAT RIVER - THE SPARKS GATHERED AND BEGAN TO POUR INTO THE THE WITHERED LEAF - THE LEAF BEGAN TO GROW AND TO CHANGE AND TO GLOW WITH THE SPARKS POURED INTO IT - FIRST IT BEGAN TO GROW RED AS THE DAWN THEN IT BEGAN TO GLOW WITH A SILVER FIRE - THE FIRE BEGAN TO SPREAD FORTH AND TO SPREAD BACK FROM THE LEAF UPON THE VEINS INTO THE TREE - AS THE LEAF BURNED THE TREE BEGAN TO WAKE - THE FIRE POURED INTO THE TREE AND THE TREE BEGAN TO POUR THE FIRE BACK INTO THE WORLD - THE SILVER FIRE SPREAD BACK INTO THE WORLD FROM THE LEAF INTO THE TREE AND THROUGH THE ROOTS AND THE FIRE BURNED BACK THE COLD

THE FIRE BURNED BACK THE COLD - THE FIRE BURNED BACK THE DARK - THE FIRE BURNED BACK THE UNBALANCE - THE LIGHT WAS RESTORED - THE NIGHT WITH NO DAY WAS ABOLISHED - THE WINTER WITHOUT END WAS ABOLISHED - DAWN CAME

THE LEAF WAS WITHERED AND BLACKENED - BUT THE TREE STOOD - THE WORLD STOOD

In the later years, it was often predicted this foretelling was a prediction of how the Fairy War played out. The rise of the the good forces against the orcs. The truce written to stem the rising tide of the dark. There were always the ones that scoffed at supposed obvious chicanery.

There were other sects who differed in opinion. There were obvious things in the history of the Sisters that pointed to the occasional ability to see into the future. The Black Mage Affair and the Quillantem of the Solar fine examples of how their predictions turned out to be more than whims of fancy. The finding of the corpse of Levana Niltaurwen in between the planes of Light and Dark a formidable case.

There were those who speculated that the Three Sisters of the Great Four Trees saw a vision of a time that was not yet come...
