Creature Name: Tyeduan Snow Leopard

Creature Type: Animal ((1302))
Creature Subtype: Feline
CTS trainable: Not yet (under Team review).
Introduction
The Tyeduan Snow Leopard is a beautiful, slender, and elusive animal native to the tundras of Tyedu. They bear a sheer white coat of fur to blend into their snow covered territory. By my own eye they were hardly discernable at about 20 meters in broad daylight. They have large yellow eyes with thin vertical slits cutting down the center. Despite their slender build, they have large and wide paws presumably to be able to walk and run on snow more efficiently. Their long and thin tails most likely aid them in keeping their balance while running and turning in the snow.
Feeding Habits
Carnivorous animals, the Tyeduan Snow Leopard seems to hunt either alone or possibly in pairs if joined by a mate or an adolescent cub on the verge of maturity.
Disposition and Social Habits
Mostly anti-social creatures, they will often remain within their habitat until they need to go into the tundra for food or to find a mate.
Habitat
The pair of leopards I observed took shelter in a small cave near a pond, surely to have protection from would be predators like Dire Polar Bears as well as easy access to water and possibly thirsty prey that stop for a drink. e.g. Tyeduan Snow Monkeys, possibly Tyeduan Frost Vipers.
Fylgia

- The Tyeduan Snow Leopard shows no spots but they are just as sleek and slender as their Southern cousin. They also exhibit a similar intelligence, almost responding accordingly when spoken to.
Other notes
I would like to thank Buck Rowen for leading the expedition to Tyedu and a woman I only met as AJ, so I could have the opportunity to research such a beautiful creature. [[Category:Fylgia:Leopard]]
