Rothe are bovine herbivores, common to the mountains of Galdos and Deglos where they are domesticated and kept for their wool and milk. Rothe are also known to thrive underground; distinct underground breeds exist such as the Marazdin Deep Rothe and the Underdark Deep Rothe (commonly referred to as just Deep Rothe).
The Gnomish Druid Deider of Pelar is (in)famous for attempting to introduce Rothe to underground settlements of Southern Negaria, only to find they were already present in the Underdark.
