Wild Magery
An Ongoing Study by Aiko Heartfire, Green Order of the Forest
- Purpose of this research
Wild Magery has always seemed to garner negativity towards the chance of the spell going wrong. The randomness of the magic can be remembered by many who happened to be on the receiving end of its negative effects.
With this in mind, I set out to unveil some of the mysteries and possibly, shed some light on this very misunderstood Arcane Knowledge. In this volume, we shall touch on the beneficial effects.
- Beneficial Effects
Personal attributes - These effects range widely from the enhancement of strength, reflexes or endurance, insight and perception to even making one's presence more formidable. These only last a few minutes.
Regeneration - This effect only lasts for about a minute. It will only affect the Wild Mage and works very similar to the nature regeneration spells priests have at their disposal.
Darkness - Similar to the Arcane and Divine versions. A shroud of darkness envelopes the mage. An odd side effect can occur where those within the shroud of darkness can become saturated with the darkness, making them difficult to see until they rest or are dispelled.
Sanctuary - Similar to the Arcane and Divine versions. Lasts mere seconds.
Haste - Only affects the Wild Mage. This also only lasts a few seconds, generally about the same duration as a basic Potion of Speed.
