Apple Of My Eye
By Ashanar Sekor (Ash)
I need an apple of my eye
One that can make me lie
One that will not be afraid
And a tree to be my shade
One that will listen to my songs
While only wearing a sexy thong
One that will always be true
And understand why I like the color blue
I need a love to call me home
And sit and listen to my poems
One that doesn't mind cooking
And never minds my looking
One that will let me hold her tight
And know how to treat me right,
Yes, she will try to make me polite
And is always damn good in a fight!
One not afraid to moan
When I let out a loud groan
She will allow me to wake her emotions of fire
And she will never, never tire
She will be the sun to start my day
And the moon beneath which I play
She would be my diamond in the rough
That most would call far too tough
Gentle as a flowering spring breeze
Yet strong as enough for me to squeeze
One that will never ask the time
And always have a bottle of wine
One that will let me comfort her
Lay in my arms without a stir
Dream my dreams with me
One not afraid of the dark, dark, sea
I need an apple of my eye...
