What we do: The Order of the Dragon is non-religious, neutral order for monks. Although the Order is not affiliated with any deity, we will not reject religious monks whose faith aligns itself with the orders goals. We focus on trying to bring balance to the lands of Avlis in order to obtain peace and prosperity for all (actually most is a better term - unnatural abominations and undead type creatures aren't viewed too favorably). The Order also seeks to provide a service to its members as well, by helping each develop an inner strength of mind and an outer body of precision and power, to better manifest our ki energies and to help obtain the ultimate perfection of the self.

What to expect: Members will have meetings periodically to discuss current issues and to take care of Order business. The Order will occasionally host an event which will involve contests of melee and of the mind (called the Day of the Dragon). In addition, members will frequently get together to adventure in areas all over Avlis and they are always seeking to test themselves where ever they can.

The Order of the Dragon

Alignment/Class Ristrictions: Any lawful / major class must be monk. Multi-classed monks are okay as long as the monk level is equal to or greater than any other class.

Base of operations: The main monastery is currently under construction near Dragon Mountain in M'Chek. The Order maintains friendly ties with other monasteries, like the Order of the Way and the Order of the Hammerfist. Eventually more monasteries will be popping up everywhere. The Order operates all over Southern Avlis right now.

How to contact us: To find us either speak to some monks in game, with our current large and evergrowing number of members chances are you've already found us, or leave us a message on a tavernboard and we will contact you. You can also seek out one of the current leaders of the Order directly. Grandmaster and public voice for the Order Jade (European TZ), Sapphire Master Odel Helmsplitter (EST), Diamond Master Gladd'avenglori (EST), Sagemaster Hebrin Maul (PST), Ruby Master Red Lotus(EST), Head Dragonguard Tasi van Brockenhamm (EST).

What we do: The Order of the Dragon is non-religious, non-political, neutral order for monks. Although the Order is not affiliated with any deity, we will not reject religious monks whose faith aligns itself with the Orders goals. We focus on trying to bring and maintain balance to the lands of Avlis in order to obtain peace and prosperity for all (actually, most is a better term - unnatural abominations and undead type creatures aren't viewed too favorably). Due to the balanced character of the Order and its belief that every member should walk their own Path to Enlightenment, we are not lead by one Master, but by a Guiding council, The Dragon Trinity. The Trinity embodies all aspects of the Order and is made up of three facets, Diamond, Sapphire and Ruby. The Order provides training and guidance to its members, both by helping one develop the Harmony of Self through mastering our Ki energies and perfecting our bodies and also by teaching one the Wisdom needed to use ones power wisely to create and maintain Balance.

What to expect: Members will have meetings, called tribunals, periodically to discuss current issues and to take care of Order business.
