Oh! Fine garment made of wool!
He who wears you is no fool.
For one who is gathered in your fold
Many surprises life may hold.

He will be forever free
As the weather under thee.
Defying wind, defying cold,
defying jokes, ever bold,

Oh truly, truly blessed be
One with a kilt over his knee.

His calves must be developed well!
