Path of Dust - the Sermon.

Open your eyes, Pilgrim.
Open your Mind.

Unlearn to expect, learn to Experience.
He who expects not is never surprised.
Become Aware. Look. Hear. Endure.

Everything comes in threes.
The Light, the Dark, the Shade.
Everything comes in threes.
The Truth, the Indifference, the Lie.

Step forward, Pilgrim, and walk safe,
for there is a Path of Truth for you to ascend.
Learn the Triangle of Enlightenment.

I. Purity. Purity of Mind.
Those of pure mind are of humble thought.
Their sandals worn, their robes dusty.
Their eyes true like crimson blood,
their hearts fertile like ebony soil.
The silent flame is a cleansing one.

II. Justice. Justice of Judgement.
Those of righteous judgement are of inner sight.
They honour the just with fountain water,
they burn the wicked with fire and brimstone.
They invite sun into their orchards,
they endure storm in their strongholds.
They take light to blind the fool,
they take darkness to tell the wise.
The bitter kiss is remedy.

III. Strength. Strength of Spirit.
Those of noble souls are those who know their fears.
The friends to their fears know themselves truly.
The fool is driven by his fears.
The blind is driven against them.
The wise is driven because of them.
The seer drives them.

When to ford a mountain river,
the fool tells of courage.
When to ford a mountain river,
the wise tells of poles and ropes.

Step forward, Pilgrim, and walk safe,
past the Halls of Indifference.
Step forward, Pilgrim, and walk safe,
for those who sit there stay behind.
The Triangle of Stagnation is
a Pit.

Step forward, Pilgrim, and walk safe,
for the Path of Truth never crosses the Road of Lies.
Step forward, Pilgrim, and walk safe,
for the Road of Lies crosses the Path of Truth many times.
Step forward, Pilgrim.
Those who know the true weakness
come to learn the true strength.
Learn the Triangle of Filth.

I. Impurity of mind.
Watch them walk, them of false pride.
Their eyes jewels of frost, their hearts - shards of ice.
They call it sane where it is madness.
They call celestial where it is hell.
Trees break. Reeds bend.

II. Injustice of judgement.
Watch them walk, them devoid of sight.
They take away what is due.
They plant where it is to prune.
They call it valour where it is reckless.
Kiss of a snake is always venom.

III. Weakness of spirit.
Watch them walk, both fearless and fear-stricken.
The fool takes shields to deflect swords.
The wise takes the swords away.
The shiniest armour is archery target.

A tainted spirit hosts no pure mind.
A tainted mind passes no right judgement.
A tainted judgement is a mark of the fool.

Be Patient, Pilgrim.
Those who know how to wait know when to act.
Be Patient, Pilgrim.
Those who know how to seek know when to find.
