The (Un)official Treatise on Plushie Creation
By Ammika of the Drakehall

Plushies are great fun to create and show off one's creativity but there are rules to be followed.

First and most important. NEVER EVER MAKE YOURSELF INTO PLUSHIE FORM. DON'T DO THIS! Strings will get crossed and you could end up as the plushie or the plushie becomes you. The un-entanglement rituals are long and just a pain in the ass. Think a team of mages having to act like kittehs and your soul and the plushie is the tangled up ball of yarn. Don't make a plushie of yourself! They might not untangle you.

Second and most important. Never put any magic of any kind into a plushie (unless under strict supervision and a protected environment) This includes all schools of the arcane, the ritual magix of old, magic of notes and tones, natural prayers and enchants, and prayers to the immortals. Even if creating from the finest of silks and scales. Because unlike robes and clothing attire; Plushies represent the living. While the idea of an army of fireballing tossing Mini-Fabellos is a theory. To put it into practice could put us all in danger. Then the Plushies rule the world with all of us enslaved to sew more plushies. Seek out mages that you don't know their names and ask them for help.

Those are two good rules and now for how to make plushie!

Step one: Sew a plushie form up and make it slightly chubbier than the real person. This makes it cute and huggable.

Step two: Stuff it! Raw cotton is great for stuffing as is unprocessed wool. This gives the plushie its form and huggable rating. No one wants to hug a flat plushie after all.

Step three: Over exaggerate features; this can be done by sewing in ripped muscles to the chest, greater cleavage, or even more pronounced features. Be creative! If you are daring, you can try to go the other way. Say your plushie is on someone of smaller features. Play up the joke of what they don't have.

Step four: Make a little outfit for your plushie. Try to make it sort of like what they wear but doesn't have to be perfect. It's a plushie, it's already perfect.

Step five: Hug the Plushie! You are done!

Now that you have a plushie. Spend time with your plushie. If you have other plushies then by all means introduce them to the others. Plushie Socialization is a real thing. As they aren't meant to be shelved or behind glass by themselves. They need interaction with you or their intended. Hold a tea party, have a Justicar take them on walks, fancy dress parties are a delight for plushies, and the always popular Trade Fair tours for them.

You are only limited by your own creativity when it comes to Plushie Creation. Explore and enjoy the world of Plushies and what they have to offer you and you can offer them. You might even make a friend or two as you sew and create.

About the Author: Ammika (also known as Nawen) is not only a well-known authority on the topic of Plushies. She has also sewed Plushies of her friends Sonja, Aiko, Rose, Frapp, and others including herself; which are on display at GardenHouse just northwest within the FairyGardens and at Paradise in Elysia. She is also well known at Trade Fairs for her stall PlushieTown, where one can buy, sell, and trade in plushies. Currently, she is planning PlushieWorld, a model world of our world done with Plushies. Believed to be coming to Drakehall once she figures out all the display groupings and an orrery of her own and Fabello's design to create days and nights for PlushieWorld.
