The History:

Since the dawn of the light and the first snows covered the lands. The Blue Foxes lived in southeastern Tyedu and followed the teachings of the Great Fox in all matters of life. Life was good and the land provided for the people of the Great Fox. The snow falls then melts as nature awakes before the snow falls again and nature sleeps. This is life in Tyedu where the beauty of the landscape hides the deadly danger of life.

As the Fey fought each other and the Humans and Elves fought the Orcs. Tyedu experienced brief warming and the winters were lessened by nature staying away from her slumber. For the Blue Foxes, this meant even more for them to hunt and gather. In turn, in a few years, their numbers started to grow and by the end of the decade, their numbers were more than tripled for their population just a decade before. When the winter came and the Blue Foxes looked forward to nature not slumbering as they had forgotten the harshness of winters past but winter had not forgotten the Blue Foxes and stuck back with harshness to remind them. With little saved in the belief winter would not come again they were ill-prepared and suffered greatly through the winter months. As spring broke through the melting ice the tribal leaders gathered. They knew they had been lucky and winter could have taken more souls than it did. For which they thanked the Great Fox for seeing to them. A decision was made by the leaders in the spirit of the Great Fox's teaching and to ensure winter would be prepared for.

The tribe would split into four and would reach out across the lands of the Blue Fox. Those that agreed to depart from the village went in three directions from Tamehollow, the ancestral winter home of the Blue Foxes. To the north, those that left became known as the Black Seals and founded Old Tooth along the northeastern coast. To the east, those that left became known as the Grey Eagles and founded Idlehowl along the eastern coast. The west, those that left became known as the White Hares and founded Silentvale to the west. Those that stayed were the Blue Foxes and maintained Tamehollow and their summer village of Wild Woods.

During the split of families; many people came from the east upon their lands and sought refuge from the troubles in their homelands. In time they would join and marry within the tribes. Was several winters after their appearance that the tribes started to raid more often and into the lands once known as Dobrekan but now called Jechran and focused on the northwestern portion of those lands. At times the raids grew more intense and bloody to almost a state a war existed with the Blood Wings of Jechran and the Blue Foxes. The battles have countless names and the loss of life was great at times. A few times the tribes were almost bleed out of existence in defeats. They were not always defeated and claimed impressive victories over the foes both in Jechran and in Glados and Tyedu. Some of the older members of the tribes have spoken of when they were young and hearing the old members speak of these people as being from those lands and wishing to reclaim what was there and taking their new people to live there.

About the reciter: Sul'Dove was taken as a battle prize by the Circle at the age of eight at the Battle of Thick Trees; where the Blue Foxes and their allies the Circle fought the Blood Wings of Jechran. For over a decade Sul'Dove, known as Luyu by her new tribe was raised within the Blue Foxes and taught their ways. She escaped in a snowstorm to avoid being given away to the Circle to honor them for joining the Blue Foxes. She now resides in Elysia as a Bow Maiden with the Warrior Maidens of Dre'Ana, and has taken to using her birth name of Sul'Dove or Sky Dove.
