So you have found yourself in the jewel of the south, the fair city of Mikona. If you were like me the fist sight you had of this city was from the deck of a lumbering sea cow beating sail for the docks. Having suffered the length of the Eridanian River, then the trip down the west coast of M'chek the fetid waters of the harbor were a welcome if somewhat smelly sight. If you are new to the city your first order of business after sliding down the gangway is to give thanks to Ingoren for your safe travels; I didn't once and the ship sank, but that tale can be found in my extensive and yet unpublished memoirs. After praising Ingoren turn your attention to the eastern end of the dock and stand there mouth a gape at the splendor of The Red Order Tower. The beautiful and imposing structure thrusts skyward, a bastion of arcane study among the mundane hustle and bustle of the dock. After you've stood there a while like a gaping jacknape check your pockets because you've probably been robbed. If you still have coin head north toward the Market District.
