What is a Fylgia

A Fylgia is a part of your characters spirit which can be molded with concentrated thought. It can take on one of a few forms which correspond to animals throughout Avlis. Your bond is formed by reaching out to your companion with your Fylgia.

Instinctively all commands you give to your companion spoken or otherwise are accompanied by a push from your Fylgia which will help your companion understand what you are asking them to do. Creatures will have different comprehension of your commands based on how your Fylgia presents the information to them, it is often much easier to give commands to creatures who match your metaphysical Fylgia than otherwise.

Your companion will also change it's fighting styles based on the influence your Fylgia exerts on their mind while in combat. Be aware that this can cause some bit of confusion of you are working with a new companion or have recently forced your fylgia to represent itself differently.
