A churning field of oil and grease fills the target area, causing all within to either fall down or move at a reduced speed.

Area of Effect fire spells that hit the Grease field will set it alight, doing 1d4 fire damage with no save for every two caster levels of the Grease layer (and not the lighter) to targets in a huge area of effect, and will clear the Grease.

NOTES

• A creature with the freedom effect is immune both to the speed reduction and to being knocked down.
• The effects of this spell do not accumulate when cast multiple times over the same area. The first grease effect applied is checked, and the rest are ignored for that round.
  • Grease fire effects may be applied multiple times to targets when multiple grease AoEs are ignited.
