Create magic tattoo creates a single magic tattoo conferring a bonus upon the subject. The caster determines the exact type of tattoo created, though the selection allowed is limited by the caster's level. Creating a tattoo requires a Lore skill check, the DC depending on the exact tattoo created. A single creature may only have 3 tattoos at any one time. Once a creature has 3 tattoos, additional tattoos fail.

Note:

  • Tattoo choices are now controlled by chat commands. Type /help magictat In Game, or see Avlis Command Prompt: Magic Tattoo for a list of options to go with the /magictat command. Once you set a magic tattoo option (eg. /magictat sr), the next time you cast Magic Tattoo the chosen option will come into effect (assuming your PC caster level meets the below prerequisites).

The following tattoos may be created, all require a Lore skill check, DC10:

  • +2 to one saving throw type.
  • +1 to attack rolls.
  • +1 deflection bonus to AC.

The following tattoos may be created by casters of level 7 or higher, all require a Lore skill check, DC15:

  • +2 to all savings throws.
  • +2 to attack rolls.

The following tattoos may be created by casters of level 13 or higher, all require a Lore skill check, DC20:

  • Spell resistance of 10+ 1 / 6 caster levels.
  • +2 to any one ability score.
