Avlis has migrated to Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition and in that, there were a lot of IC changes as well. This page may contain inaccurate IC and/or OOC material and has been flagged to be updated. For live assistance, Chat with the Team on Discord.

Game Requirements for Avlis

Avlis uses the Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition (NWN:EE) game, Release Version 88.8193.36-12. That is the only thing you needed to begin playing on Avlis.

Custom Content on Avlis

All of the customization notes below are for informational purposes only, and do not require you to know, understand, install, or configure to begin playing on Avlis.

In addition to the standard NWN:EE game, we use NWNX:EE, and have custom content which is downloaded automatically when connecting to an Avlis Server using NWSync.

NWN:EE includes everything from the original NWN game, as well as the Shadows of Undrentide (SoU) and Hordes of the Underdark (HotU) expansions. Please note this listed only for informational purposes as you do not need to download and/or install any expansion packs separately.

Obtaining and Installing the Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition Game

System Requirements

NWN and Avlis will run on most modern computers. NWN:EE's requirements are on the Beamdog Website. Avlis does not have any additional System Requirements beyond that of NWN:EE.

MINIMUM:

Windows OS: 7, 8.1, 10 64-bit
MAC OS: OS X 10.11
Linux OS: Ubuntu 18.04 or equivalent
Processor: Intel Core i3 3rd gen or equivalent
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: OpenGL 3.3 compatible with 2 GB of VRAM
Hard Drive: 12 GB available space

Recommended Settings

Avlis does not have any specific recommendations on settings. However please note, some players like to utilize overrides. We do not prohibit the use of overrides, however, we do not provide any support for them either.
