Orleron is the main creator of the Avlis setting and servers.  Taking the initial rudiments of Avlis from his friend Ceardan, the two of them fleshed out the beginnings of the world as it is played today.  From there, Orleron added more content and set in motion the first Avlis server, The City of Mikona, in June 2002.
Orleron ran the top level operations of the Avlis Team until quietly leaving the Avlis Team and the service of the community to pursue other interests in October 2006.  Some items are still run by his company, Blackparadox Enterprises, such as the finances, support network, and advertising, but the overall direction, plot, tone and feel of the Avlis servers have been handed over to new management.  The Team members work on the particulars of the setting and the specific player events.
