About Me

Hi! My name is James and I am an Avlisaholic. I live in the midwest USA in Iowa City, Iowa, home to my alma mater the University of Iowa (that's a lot of Iowa, innit?). When I'm not playing Avlis, I am a Software QA at Pearson, a subsidary of Pearson Plc, one of the largest ... companies... in the freaking universe. Or something. I test an online system used to deliver high-stakes standardized testing through the internets. I also occasionally find time to pursue hobbies such as playing guitar or trumpet or pretty much any other musical instrument I can get my hands on, watching movies/listening to music/reading books/experiencing media, drawing and painting, and the occasional political activism or volunteer work.
