Getting Started In Avlis: Difference between revisions

A world of steel and magery where no one race or philosophy predominates,and heroes from all perspectives battle to further their cause and make a name for themselves.

Avlis is implemented as a persistent world for the Neverwinter Nights (NWN) role-playing game.

Getting Started in Avlis in Five Quick Steps

1. To obtain a password, fill out this application. NOTE: We've removed the application requirement for the month of July!

2. If you also wish to register for an account on the Avlis forum you can do that here.

3. Before creating your character, read the Rules Summary, and the Avlis Player Guide.

4. Before logging on to create a character, make sure you have all the hakpaks.

5. To create a character, read the Character Creation section.

Need to Know

This all is useful information, but not essential. Be advised, we will expect you to know the rules that pertain to your character!

Custom Avlis sytems and tools - There are numerous Avlis-specific customizations constantly being added, which enrich the existing systems and tools avaliable in the original NWN game.

Things You Might Not Have Found Out in Game - While Avlis emphasises on finding In-Character (IC) information in-game (IG), there are a few minor tips made avaliable for out-of-character (OOC) consumption.

Rules - Rules of Conduct. All Avlis players are expected to know these rules.
