Creatin’ the first suit of Mithril Armor

Fegall be praised! I managed ta create the first e’er suit o’ Mithril armor at the AAAA. ‘ad bin in discussion wi’ cousin Kimli fer a long while bout wha’ be needed. He managed ta git me a set o’ his ol’ Mithril smithin’ tools an’ I went an’ hunted a couple more from a crazy ol’ ganoom in the depths o’ Deglos’ Derome academy. Any’ow, usin’ Shelly’s armor as a model, I took it apart all careful like an’ began ta reconstruct bit by bit wha’ I hoped would be a good ‘nuff replica.

We used a combination of rings an’ threads fer the chainshirt. Managed tha’ without too much trouble wi’ cuz Kimli watchin’ o’er me shoulder. Next I tried ta tackle creatin’ a suit o’ plate. Tha’ proved ta be a mite more difficult aye. Wha’ wi’ Miss Moira, Ayren, Darent, Kraven an’ a coupla others all watchin’… I ‘ad the shites I tell ya. Mucked up on the first attempt ‘cos I used too much pressure tryin’ ta meld the plates inta their grooves. Kimli near on flogged me fer the waste. I took a calmin’ quaff of ale an’ focused on the next attempt wi’ a prayer ta Fegall. Lucky fer me, he decided ta be nice an’ I managed ta make a couple without flaws. Nearly pissed meself wi’ relief after tha’.
