3rd June 2005 Sentinel Helms; AAAA, Fulchair Hall, Dwarftrade
I've bin asked ta lead a team in creatin' a set of helms fer the Sentinels of Visimontium. They've specified wha' they want an' I've done a bit o' research on it.
After workin' on a few moulds, I think we’ll need the followin’ components fer the helms.
Be usin' a base of titanium 'cos 'tis light an' flexible. Donna want folks gettin' a headache wearin' the thing. Ta toughen it up, we kin grind the chips of rock beetle shell inta a fine powder an' mix it wi' the sap of T'Nanshi ash. Coat the titanium mould wi' it an' then encase it in pieces of manticore skin ta 'elp protect against arrows an' such. Finally, sum good deer leather cured an' softened in rothe fat ta line the insides fer comfort. Fox recommended I use a bit of padded cloth as well an’ after testin’ the theory, saw tha’ it ‘elps prevent the leather from peelin’ of yer scalp.
Sentinels an’ members o’ the 4A managed ta git wha’ I needed. Celethril ‘elped out wi’ the makin’. Go’ sum potential tha’ lad. Mister Mel were mos’ pleased wi’ the efforts.
