Tup's Portrait

Vital Statistics

Name: Tupaia "Tup" Warick
Race: Half-nymph
Hair Color: Light blond
Eye Color: Emerald Green
Diety: Skern
Class: Druid
Affiliations: Circle of Seven Shemathen'le'Yeritath
Warrior, Le'Nofaythen'T'Nanshi
Member, Academy of Natural Resources and Agriculture

Appearance:

Tup is a willowy blond, with piercing green eyes. Often seen wearing well worn apparently leather armor colored in shades of green and brown. She frequently roams the woods in the form of an ancient bear or panther.

Disposition:

Tup by nature is very warm, and friendly to those she knows, but at first blush can seem standoffish. She is generally rather shy and uncomfortable in large groups of people. She would much rather be in the woods than in a city.

Biography:

Mostly raised by her mother in western T'nanshi, Tup was inspired by her mother to live up to her namesake, with the hopes of becoming a druid as talented as Tupaia Dargoth. After her mother's passing, Tup ventured out of the grove of her youth and met several people who would influence her greatly. Among those people are Em'rys, a fellow druid of Skern who helped nurture her early talent and mentored her in the ways of the woods, Jwol for his early lessons on fyglia and the nature of shifting, Yantri for aiding in early training of companions lessons, Davilla a friend, teacher and mentor, and Druantia a close friend and confidant.

Her circle of friends has definitely expanded as she's worked to overcome her shyness. Working closely with others restoring the health of the lifestones and aiding with replanting M'Chek after the demon incursion helped to expand her horizons and build her confidence some. For now, she takes each day in stride and works diligently to protect and maintain nature's balance.

Critters being observed for more information

Couger

In my wanderings in the woods, I have met the prettiest critter. The couger is a magnificent beast!. Its tawney hide covers rippling muscles. Similar in size to a lion, but maybe a little bigger. The cougar also has lovely white markings on its face, particularly around its eyes (as illustrated in this drawing).

Couger Sketch

I did sense a connection between the cougar and myself. I feel that 203 is somehow a key in taming.

Lion

A lion is a glorious feline. The one that I've been observing lives in Elysia, in the outskirts. Her muscles ripple under her hide, and she has a tendency to pounce on critters that annoy her. She has a beautiful golden coat, is a little bigger than a panther, yet a littler smaller than a mircat. If I had to guess, I'd say that she weighed about 150 pounds. She might eat the dire boars in the area. With me she is very calm and gentle, but when others approach her she attacks with a fierce bite. When I attempted to bond with her, I sensed a distinct connection between us, however I wasn't able to bond with her. I have a feeling that 97 is somehow key. I plan on studying her some more in her habitat, next time, I'll draw some sketches.

Dalmatian

A dalmatian, looks just like a normal dog, except for the coloring. They are white with black spots. I'd say that the one that I attempted to befriend was about 50 pounds. I found this one in the northern residences of Elysia, in a small pack (3 of them) surrounding the cleric that stands just inside of the gate. (The cleric was probably giving them snacks.) I was hesitant to attempt to bond with him, because my fyglia is feline, but I did try anyway. I was quite surprised when I experienced quite a connection between us. However there's not enough knowledge yet to tame him. I feel that 1392 is key. I plan on studying the dalmatian pack again if I find them, next time, I'll draw some sketches.

I went back to look for the dalmatian again and met another type of canine a Malamute. (This picture illustrates the difference between the two canines.)

Dalmation & Malamute

Malamute

A malamute is a species of canine. Perhaps 75 pounds or so. It could just be the fur though. The fur on this one seemed much longer than the fur of its cousins. Grey and white markings as exhibited in the picture. This critter seemed to get along well with other dogs, as I found him with a dalmation. I did attempt to tame him, however I wasn't successful. I'm pretty sure that 1395 is key.

Ancient Manticore (?)

I had a treat! I ran in to Yantri in the canopies and he brought me a manticore to sketch! What an amazing critter! Still very feline in nature, I would take a guess that it is a carnivore, just by the amount, size and sharpness of its teeth as illustrated here

Elder Manticore Face

It's body was a bit more compact compared to the species of manticores that I have bet in Ferrell for example. Its wingspan had to be 7 feet from wingtip to wingtip. Oh, I wouldn't want to get this critter upset with me at all. I'm glad that it was Yantri that was keeping him tame long enough for me to sketch, I'm afraid that this critter would overpower me rather quickly.
