The House Nordryn originally emerged when two clothing shops and the Nordryn Thermae came, mostly by coincidence, in the hands of a single merchant, who died soon thereafter and left his merchant empire to his six sons. Many Kurathian nobles visit Nordryn on a regular basis.

The House Nordryn originally emerged when two clothing shops and the Nordryn Thermae came, mostly by coincidence, in the hands of a single merchant, who died soon thereafter and left his merchant empire to his six sons. They ran the business as equals, and from the offspring of those six sons the House Nordryn was created.

The Nordryn live almost exclusivily in the village of Nordryn, known for it's hot springs and luxerous shops for things you don't really need. Nordryn is an especially good place for this, being near Kuras, where martial Law and the general strict, Toranite mentality leaves little room for 'useless' time-wasting. Many Kurathian nobles visit Nordryn on a regular basis.

The Nordryn are good at only few things, but one of them is getting other Houses into nasty political positions, which makes them a house to watch out for. They are known to spend big money on useless things, and to party and get drunk a lot.
