Descriptions
Appearance
Suldove Ravadove stands over 6 foot with think, long, sunkissed blonde hair that is twisted and braided into rope-like locks and formed into a ponytail by a hairband of Jecherican Willowbark that creates a cascade of locks. Her eyes are a cool blue and she glances about with an almost feral look. Her towering figure is ripped and muscular denoting years of training and survival upon the Great Ice. Gracing her towering figure is an equally impressive colossal bosom known not only their dimensions but the sheer amount of perkiness! So perky that even under several layers of fabric and topped with chainmail; her perkiness is matter public knowledge. Upon her face, neck, and shoulders are tribal marks in the sacred blue that denotes she was taking in a battle against Jechran, her worth to the tribe, that she earned membership in the Blue Fox tribe of Tyedu, and many other milestones in life. Rarely does she speak as she pursues a more stoic demeanor in life but when she does speaks it's in a mix of broken common with a mix of Tyeduian and Jechran accents to her words.
"So perky and we don't mean her attitude"
Tattoos/Symbols
- Wrapped around her neck are runes denoting how she came to be there. Her capture in Jechran, her worth to the tribe, and that she is protected by the tribe as their prize. All given to her at the age of eight.
- At the age of nine, she was given the mark of ice from under her nose crossing her lips and down her chin. As a sign stating she traveled the Great Ice with the Blue Foxes.
- Across her right hand just above her knuckles are shooting stars as a mark of magic. At the age of twelve, she had her first cycle and the tribe celebrated and marked her path to womanhood by marking her left shoulder, and both thighs with various fertility runes. During the marking and being held down young Suldove unleashed little bolts of electricity and shock everyone to their amusement.
- On her left hand, are tattoos and runes of power and strength given to her by the family of an older girl she beat down. At the age of fourteen, she was tired of her harassment and knocked her out with a single punch to the face.
- Upon her face is a sweeping stroke representing the 'Winter Lights' which was earned at the age of sixteen as she was out on the ridgeline and noticed movement below. She alerted the Blue Foxes and they were able to defend their camp from raiders. When asked she told them that she wanted to see the lights in the sky and wasn't trying to escape. She was escaping but went back seeing a greater danger. In doing so earned her place as a member of the tribe and not a prisoner.
- Across her shoulders and down her left arm is the story of her time from becoming a member to her trials in proving her worth. The hunting of foxes, navigating the Great Ice, hunting alone with her bow, and other feats are displayed via symbols or runes. Either as a joke for how many times she tried to escape or to honor her for how fast she runs; she has feathers on top and bottom of her feet and her claves.
- From her right shoulder to her elbow are runes and symbols that denote her skill with a bow, bless her talent in the eyes of the Great Fox, and aid her keeping her pull true.
- On the back of her neck is the silhouette of a fox with a half-sun or longbow design with a dove flying above it in the same style. Denoting she has hunted the fox and came back with her prey and the meaning of her name. The blue dove is also outlined in the sacred black of the Black Seals.
- In both ear lobes are disc carved from wolf bone from when she and two others protected all the young women during a cycle retreat to a cave and wolves followed the scent.
- In her septum is a ring made from the first arrowhead she killed with a bone bead from the stag.
- Her beads and cuffs in her dreads are a mixed range of tribal designs and Jechranican motifs. Most are tribal designs in copper and there a few silver even. Two are in ivory from the walrus and denote her status as 'claimed' by Inola; the Black Seals's chieftain as hers. There is also a large elongated amethyst with roses cut into it that she bought at Windy Willows. The large wrap that forms her ponytail isn't cloth but Jechranican Willow Bark that she picked up along the trading route along the Wastelands and has a motif of roses, wheat, and apples across it in a lovely design.
- Upon her left bicep, near he shoulder, mixed it with other tattoos is the Mark of Andrinor's Trust in its original arcane coloring.
- Upon her left forearm in the sacred black of the Black Seals is her life's story told in runes.
(All tattoos are done in the sacred blue pigment of The Great Fox and the Blue Foxes; only the visible are listed)
Suldove's History
In Jechran
Their mother Wolsuldove, had won great battles against the mortal foe of all Blood Wings, the Blue Foxes. For defeating them so soundly in battle and keep the borders safe. Many tribes sent breeding stock to Cloudforest for her to use. Unhappy with most of what she saw, she refused to pick. Then one-day Kevovar was escorted into the village by as he was sent as a gift. Upon examining him and seeking blessings from the tribal priestess. She took him as a breeder and the village of Cloudforest rejoiced and celebrate for Wolsuldove would hopefully produce an heir to her leadership with her first breeder. For the act itself is not love nor pleasure but a necessity by her rank. Many in the tribe that served under her came and watched the breeding. Including the priestess who afterward showed the tribed the bloodstained skin of her lost purity. Kevovar stayed in the male section of the village behind the stockade till it was certain that Wolsuldove was with child. At which point he was escorted back along with many gifts to acknowledge the honor that was bestowed. None one was certain from which tribe, clan, or house Kevovar had been sent from; some believed the Mortal Voice herself sent him given the guards were those that protected him but more likely it was from the leader of guard Dre'Ana's high temple itself.
Nine months later, and Wolsuldove gives birth to twins. Sul'dove and Rava'dove as they were named upon their birth and in the tradition set by Emanaia Orchard; the mother of doves. Given the demands on their mother. The twins each had their own Yeraiahisist wet nurse and nannies. Through it was mostly a precaution as Wolsuldove spent all her time with the twins. by the age of three, their wet nurses and nannies were replaced with tutors. Dre'Anaites sisters from the Vorin library in Myleah came to the village and taught them the ways of Jechran, Dre'Ana, and educated them in words, writing, and numbers. Their tutors were Selrae and Olluna and would serve the family for years. It was said the twins were smart and attentive to their lessons and were well behaved during the lessons. When the girls were in their fifth summer, Olluna returned to Myleah to further her own standing in the library. By summer's end, Selrae would take the hunt and come back a member of the Blood Wings to become not only the twins' tutor but their protector.
In their six summer, the twins were more independent and play with fey from a nearby settlement in the Bloomwake Groves that was part of the Blood Wing's tribal holding and ran afoul of trouble by angering many farmers in the area. When Selrae heard such she gave the two a stern talking-to since Wolsuldove was out checking the borders. Upon her return and learning this. Selrae was punished for not minding the twins. Wolsuldove orders five lashes to be given the next day. Upon that morning, Selrae was led out and stripped then had her hands bound. Before the first lash could be delt. The twins walked out from their mother's side and joined their tutor and protector. They stood by Selrae as they undressed and offered their hands to be bound to share in the punishment of their own actions. Wolsuldove unable to stop it, nodded and her daughters' hands were bound and then she nodded for it to start. It was said Sul passed out without a scream on the second lash, Rava on the third, but Selrae didn't scream out at all and on the fifth lash fell to her knees next to the twins. When the twins awoke the next day, their mother was a mix of anger and pride for her daughters.
In their seventh summer, their mother took them to Many Falls, where several streams converge and these waterfalls are without comparison in Jechran. During the height of summer, a celebration for the Day of Proclamation is held every year. It is believed by all her followers that this is where Dre'Ana came and spoke her message at these falls. Women come from all parts of Jechran to be washed in the falls and blessed. For the ritual and the following celebration, there are no tribes, no grudges, no fighting, everyone present is Jechran and are sisters. There the twins bathed in the waterfalls and were led to the priestess to be blessed alongside their mother. For the rest of the celebration, the twins danced, prayed, celebrated and rejoiced in life with other children of Jechran. On the way home to Cloudforest, the twins recited their family history from the Seven Cities, its first steps in Jechran, to visiting Many Falls and the celebration. To their mother's delight at their knowledge and attention to details.
In their eight summer, coming out of a hard and bitter winter. As everyone including the twins was helping with planting and getting everything ready for the growing period. That was when reports came to Wolsuldove that the Blue Foxes were back and scouting the borderlands. Invoking defense agreements the Bloods were supplied by neighboring tribes and took to the field. Wolsuldove took the twins and Selrae their bodyguard to the Blood Wings battle camp near Thick Trees.
Upbringing
Both Sul and Rava were a handful. Some assumed it was their mother's standing in the tribe and her lack of discipline towards the twins. Their mother was very mindful of that appearance the twins raising was very discipline. Which could explain why the got into so much trouble if left alone without their mother, tutors, or guards. Why they didn't have that many friends. When by themselves they caused trouble and havoc on a grand scale. To the point, most children in Cloudforest couldn't play with them unless other adults were around. They mainly entertained each other and tried to behave. Sul had shown great promise in the arcane and was slowly being trained. Wolsuldove feared that Sul would be taken by the Trust and then sent away from Jechran; unable to aid her people or tribe. Rava showed great skill with the bow. Their mother's plan was for them to aid each other as their talents grew stronger.
In Tyedu
In the summer of her eighth year is when life takes a turn for the worse and Suldove on a path she could not turn away from. In that spring with the Blue Foxes of Tyedu starting their raids against Jechran lands protected by the Blood Wings. Wolsuldove, for the first time, allowed the twins to travel with the warriors as part of the support followers to remind her why she fights. Everything went as it always does. Blue Foxes push and gain ground and the Blood WIngs would push them back across the border then retreat into Jechran. Until the battle of Thick Trees along the borderlands. Unknown to Wolsuldove and her warriors was the alliance the Blue Foxes had with a band of outcast and criminals of various tribes of Tyedu; only known as 'The Circle'. As the Blood Wings held the line against the Blue Foxes. Was when The Circle moved against the flank and attacked the camp. Completely catching them off guard. The few guards were sained without honor and soon the camp it set was taken. Everyone was killed. The twins' bodyguard Selrae, fought to the end protecting the children. Ravadove, being the braver of the picked up the fallen guard's' sword and as she tried to lift it up. Was punched so hard that she died then and there. Suldove was taken by The Circle as a prize.
Later she was traded to Blue Foxes with the promise that when came of age. She would be offered to the leader of The Circle to bond the Blue Foxes and the ally. For years she was beaten, forced, and enslaved by the Blue Foxes as resisted their ways and tried often to escape. For which she was hobbled on more than once. In her tenth year, while collecting wood for the hearths in a small grove of trees. The figure of a woman appeared and told her to submit and learn, survive and I'll come for you. Then vanished behind a tree. From that day and the eight years that followed. She submitted, she learned their ways, their words, their tactics, and earned their trust. By her twelfth year, she was accepted as Blue Fox and marked along her face, neck, and shoulder as a true member to celebrate the day of her taken. She was passed from family to family, to gather for and to learn from, to prepare her for life in the harshness of Tied. Upon her sixteenth year, she was given a bow and quiver and taught to hunt. Which is excelled at as it gave her time away from the tribe she was disgusted at embracing and would search for the woman that spoke to her all those years ago. Upon her seventeenth year, the agreement was made that at first snow of the fall, she would be given to Asema of The Circle to bond the two into one tribe.
That year was the most worrisome for young Suldove. She constantly searched for the woman and even tried to plan her own escape. Twice even considered ended it all so her future wouldn't be what they wanted it to but she would hear those words from the woman in her darkest hours. As the short summer ended, the lands were hit with furious storms and it appeared that autumn was not to be as the snow was on the way. The Circle appeared in the camp the next day with talk of bonding and belonging; a great celebration was in the works. Suldove was presented wearing a lovely fur from Asema and then ushered back to her tent. That night the storm hit hard, wind and snow came from all over. Everyone was in their tents seeking shelter from the elements. As Suldove sat watching her own little fire and coming to terms with her new life. The woman appeared from across the fire. Told her to leave everything that wouldn't keep her warm; daughter of my daughter. Together they stepped out in the storm and left the village unseen. As the storm covered their tracks. For days they walked with hardly a word said.
Days blended together and rarely stopping for long as they walked easterly. Finally, trees started appearing more often and a storm was waking. Even she knows the home was close. As they neared the border the woman told her that things had changed, daughter of my daughter but from here one has a chance. Then she vanished as Suldove turn to see around at the sounds of footsteps. Four heavily armed women in heavy purple armor were walking up and demanding to know who she is. She shouted she Suldove, daughter of Wolsuldove of the Blood Wings. Yet they kept coming and surrounded her. They asked her again and she reached it. For which she was beaten down to her knees. The one that seemed to be leader explained that Suldove and her twin Ravadove died at the battle Thick Trees and that Wolsuldove and most of the Blood Wings died that next spring at the battle of Frozen Creek. The remaining Blood Wings were taken into the Black Leaves. As they prepared to beat her down again, one of the four shouted stop and asked her what was Wolsuldove's sword named? Suldove thought a moment then grinned before answering. She explained her mother never carried a sword but a fail she called 'Thicket' cause she had all the chains on it fashioned to look like rose thicket covered in thorns. With that, the four stepped back. Three of them walk off back into the trees and one stayed.
After a long silence, that one spoke to Suldove. She explained that much has changed in along the border with Wolsuldove death. Their tribe is no more, and the few left follow another leader. She went on to explain it not safe for her, your marked up like a Blue Fox and even speak like one. Most would kill you on sight in the name of Wolsuldove. If they know you are her daughter then it will be worse. Best everyone thinks your dead already.
Suldove did just that and headed south just out of sight of the Jechran border except for on the fourth night. She knew that landscape and it was Thick Trees. That night she slipped across and there on a tree was carved "here lives Suldove Ravadove, daughter of Wolsuldove, killed in combat". Without a doubt the one that had carved it was not her mother nor anyone that knew them. As she walked off she spoke to herself Suldove Ravadove over and over and decided to take her sister's name as her family name. In the hopes of living a life for her twin too.
Mates
In the traditions of the Blue Foxes. Mates are taken by the females of the tribe at the Festive of the Fox Tail. This is when the lights dance in the night sky at the height of winter and the Blue Fox, Black Seals, White Hares, and Grey Eagles gather in one spot. Where problems are settled, next season's raids planned, trading between tribal sects, rituals, and the selection of mates is performed.
Of note, in Tyedu homosexuality is a touchy subject in the male dominate society that covers the frozen lands. Its acceptance ranges from tribe to tribe. Overall male homosexuality is frowned upon do to the fragile male ego and the overall need to grow tribes. In some tribes, it is punishable by banishment to the Great Ice while in others it's just seen as shameful. Between females, such choices while not shameful or frowned upon are not completely encouraged or accepted until the females involved have produced healthy children. Even then are still encouraged and expected to take males as mates.
Also of note, is that the Blue Foxes believe in and practice polyandry. In large part due the males outnumber females. For centuries this practice of females taking two mates has kept the peace within the tribe and allowed them to grow. The practice is simple. A female takes two mates; one is always out hunting while the other stays within the tribal camp to provide protection. When the hunter returns, the one that stayed behind leaves to hunt to ensure there is food.
Tse: (selected for Luyu by the women of her tribe) Tse was a few years younger, very headstrong and a Blue Fox. Given Luyu standing still as a captive but also Jechranican and a Dove. She was most sought after and Tse's family made sure that women knew they wanted Luyu. They gave her a tent, furs, and everything one would need to sweeten the deal. Tse was selected for Luyu on the final night. Everything seemed fine as Luyu understood her role and so did Tse. As the spring thaws came early. It was clear that something had bloomed between the young couple. But a harsh fall would descend and Tse would be put to the test in providing for his young wife on the great ice. Tse left to hunt and never returned or was found.
Nakai: (selected for Luyu by the women of her tribe) The following winter after the lose of Tse. Luyu was given a mate per tradition; Nakai of the Grey Eagles. A slightly older warrior but honorable and respectable. For two winters the two grew close. Nakai, seeing Luyu as a hunter, he took her under this tutelage and trained her with the bow. In their second winter, Nakai was defeated in battle while defending the winter camp from raiders. Luyu took his body to the Great Ice to return him to nature.
Tyee: (Luyu picked) Tyee of the Blue Fox. Who was the same age as her and headstrong with something to prove. Hoping Nakai would temper such in the strong and handsome young man. Tyee wouldn't make it to the first frost. To prove himself a greater hunter than Nakai; he ventured off alone to hunt the Ice Bears. Not listening to any of the other hunters Tyee went off and was never seen. His spear and tattered leathers were found the next spring along with the remains of four gnomes, several sets of human remains, and some animal bones.
Nikan: (Inola picked) A young stout man known for his skill with a bow from the White Hares. Nikan took to Luyu instantly and she to him. He taught her the way of the bow and stalking prey. In their first winter, Nikan went to trade furs and skins with a nearby settlement of gnomes and was never seen alive again.
Honovi: (Inola picked) A fairly strong and agile young man just out of boyhood from the Black Seals and one time promised to Inola. Luyu practically adored the young man to no end. But shortly after losing Nikan to gnomish treachery or justice depending on your view. Honovi came down with the sweats in winter. Healers were summoned, prayers and rituals carried out, but after seventeen days Honovi passed and his body was returned to nature.
Inola: She would meet her at the festive in Luyu's eighth winter with the Blue Fox. Inola was of the Black Seals and daughter to a prominent seer and possible future leader. Luyu was slatted to pick two new mates after losing Tyee and Nikan and Inola had lost her first mate to the sea. Quickly their attraction turned to lust and then something deeper. Soon Inola had left her parents tent and was staying in Luyu's tent. They had become inseparable from each other. Rumors spread and others whispered that the two had made their choices. Inola's parents heard the rumors and confronted the Blue Foxe leaders about it. It was agreed that both women had duties that were unfulfilled and such needed to be seen to; as in producing children to grow the tribe. Therefore they were separated in the middle of the night. Both parties made reparations to the others; Blue Foxes gave Black Seals several bear skins and Black Seals presented several seal skins and tusk to amend what had happened. After that, the women of each tribe made sure Luyu and Inola were kept away from each other. Upon the final night of the ritual to bless mates. They had to pick each other's mates. Inola picked Nikan of the White Hares and Honovi of the Black Seals. Luyu picked Lallo of the White Hares and Dohosan of the Blue Foxes; the later she had an extreme fondness for. The next day, the tribes went their own ways and Luyu and Inola never saw each other.
Noya: One of the free friendly women towards Luyu and a Blue Fox. After the loss of Nikan and losing Honovi to Winter Sweats. Luyu started hunting more and would team up with another woman facing similar circumstances; Noya. The two would hunt together and by the end of summer Noya had moved into Luyu's tent. The two were planning for winter and had agreed on a mate to share but that is when the news of what the tribal elders had instore for Luyu. She was to being given away to The Circle to seal the bond and make them Blue Foxes. Something Luyu resented and hated but Noya saw a great honor. The disagreement ended their plans and their love.
In the South
After departing Thick Trees. Suldove made her way along the border staying outside of Jechran till she neared Galdos-Jechran border. From there she followed the southern trading route till she reached Windy Willows just inside Jechran. There she entered and no one cared nor asked. As she was far enough from Teydu that matters of the northern border were mostly unknown. She spent a few weeks unloading and unloading trade wagons for a few coins a day and sold off some of her furs as the weather was noticeably warmer. Not wanting to risk her luck. She departed when she felt she had enough in her pouch and walked along with a trading caravan out of Deglos on its way to skirt the Wastelands and do some trading at a few border settlements known to trade in exotic goods.
They didn't pay her much attention and she kept her distance as she followed them. Until one night when the wolves came and she knew how to deal with them. From that night, she was welcomed to walk with the Anvilspine Trading Company and was welcomed into the camp. She didn't say much and they didn't ask much. She told them she wasn't a thief and they agreed she wasn't. As they went from one village to outpost to hamlet along way. She heard of the Southlands and would sometimes ask questions of the Anvilspine members about it. By the time they reached the last stop they were near Drotid and told her to keep her head down and stay with the wagons; don't look anyone in the eyes. Which she did and there was no trouble. As they turned west and back towards the mountains they offered once they reached Nutzdagezehesple. That they show her where the forest was and once there and the wagons unloaded. They did as they said and took her to the edge of the forest.
From those first steps into the forest, the truest meaning of lost set in. She saw it all without knowledge of anything; everything from harpies and the Marethorn trying to take over, and men running about free. Not to mention her newest dislike, mansplaining and the just as bad magesplanning. Over time, she would meet a few people here and there and would travel with them but always returning to her little camp spot in the forest northeasterly of Zvidureth. Soon she hears of Dre'Ana followers not just following the faith but banded together in Elysia; where she goes and try to start a life.
Elysia
She proved her worth and was accepted into the Warrior Maidens; given the rank of Bow Maiden among their numbers upon earning it. She also attempted to buy a windmill from a local farmer but with her repairs to the structure, the farmer did not sell to her. She had a more modest home constructed out near the ferry landing where many travels to reach Ferrell. She shares the home with her sidekick (or is she the sidekick) the one known as Starfey. Where the two plot and plan gooder acts to help others.
Recently departed from the southern Warrior Maidens without even speaking or leaving word to them. Now, is doing her own thing.
The Blood Wings
Misilda had left her family's caravan with her two daughters Aruanya and Dooriya and with a child coming. She left cause her husbands had each died in needless fights leaving her with daughter and no means. Her own family would negotiate a new arranged marriage and marry her off. She didn't want this for herself nor her daughters. Hearing rumors of Jechran the middle-aged woman turned her wagon northeast and departed her family's caravan. Going wasn't easy even when they entered the lands of Deglos and Galdos but they made it after months of traveling in the confines of the mountains. There as they rolled their wagon out into the light, Jechran, the land that almost seemed mythical to her but would offer her and her daughters a life of not being bartered and sold cause traditions say to.
As they crossed into Jechran, they soon learn the promise of that life is there but it doesn't come easy. Those that seek it work hard, train hard and fight hard to protect it. They found themselves on the lands of the Bright Eagle clan and were allowed to stay if they worked. Which they did until the third daughter was born; Emanaia. Given she had worked hard and her knowledge of ways was vast; Masilda was and her now three children were invited to stay and in time would be allowed to join the tribe. On, Masilda's 43rd year, she hunted and took down a Jechera; rumors have it she had dug a pit and lined it with spears then let the Jechera chase her till reaching the pit where she swung across. The act of taking down a Jechera guaranteed her and her daughters would become Bright Eagle and protected. Not much is recorded of Araunya and Dooriya. Rumors cited Dooriya became a priestess of Dre'Ana and would live deeper in the wilds of Jechran at a secluded abbey. Araunya, took a breeder and became with child but she and the child died in labor. Emanaia, would become best friends with Salbellis the clan leader's daughter. They learn through the stories of the old ones of the Blood Wings; the warriors of Bright Eagles, who protect the lands from the Tyeduians and Gladoisans that did raid. Upon their eighteenth season, both Emanaia and Salbellis offered to become members and hunt the Jechera. It was said that the two left barehanded and wearing no armor but returned two weeks and some days later with meat and skins of the Jechera and each covered in blood as they smiled and held up the tooth to prove the deed. That night as the clan celebrate the return of the friends and the others that had returned earlier. Emanaia and Salbellis announced to the clan the reformation of the Blood Wings to both of their mothers' horror. They knew what it meant and what it cost but the clan was raided seasonal, their orchards and farms always near empty come fall. It was told to the clan and the clan was joyous. How could they be stopped?
At their first engagement, the Blood Wings only number seven warriors. They had been tracking a small raiding party from Galdos. As they scouted out the orchard for raiding. The Blood Wings attacked unseen. Arrows from all directions and not even a warcry or shout. They took them by surprise and out of the twenty-person raiding party, they spared one heavily wounded gnome but would survive. The one that lived was probably a Knorkogack and was shocked to find out his compatriots and himself were taken down by seven teenage women warriors. They took him to their village and treated his wounds and once he was well enough to travel. They sent him back to Galdos with a message "Bright Eagles are protected by Blood Wings". So the myth would start. Emanaia and Salbellis would lead the Blood Wings in defense of the Bright Eagle lands and the border of Jechran even alongside some of the most famous clans, tribes, and houses. By the time of two friends taking their first breeders, the Blood Wings now number over forty women; who had matched them strength for strength and clashed arms with their mortal foes the Blue Foxes. Always defeating them even when things looked grim; the two would always find a way. Emania would be with child and give birth to Sarydove while Sabellis would give birth to Haphira. During this time they watched as the Blood Wings and planned the missions but would return to action helping a neighboring tribe the Night Lions. Who was raided via the sea by the Blue Foxes in a night raid that no one saw coming. The two planned to simply repeat the raid. Wich was a stunning victory and led to capture of all the Blue Foxes boats as well as a hoard of seal skins. Blood Wings suffered no losses and the Blue Foxes suffered heavy losses; including the capture of over a dozen young women and men. While being held by the Night Lions awaiting their fate. Many of the young ladies sought Dre'Ana and spoke of her. They were chained and sent away to see if such was true. While the men were branded and sent to work. In time many of the women would return not the Night Lions but the Blood Wings. Seeing women do what they did and with honor was a sight that impressed them. There would be many more battles for Emanaia and Salbellis. Is said that Emanaia never had another daughter but gave birth to four sons over the course of her life. She died in combat, fallen by a waraxe of the Blue Foxes at the Battle of Windy Fields, fighting for the Blood Wings with the Misty Moon Clan of Southen Jechran. Salbellis, would have another daughter and two sons. She saw her friend fall and was never the same again. She turned over the Blood Wings to Sarydove and took her own daughters with her Myelah.
Sarydove, had inherited a windfall. Trained by her mother, fought alongside her in many battles and was ready to lead the Blood Wings. It is known her first battle was really an ambush. The Blue Foxes had snuck deep into Bright Eagle lands and were waiting for her. All that is known is that while they took her arm, she took all their lives. She survived the loss of her arm, trained herself to fight left handed with a long sword and after three winters led the Blood Wings on a mission of payback. Was said they chased the Blue Foxes from their own land and the sight of Sarydove, the One Arm at the head of the small army was their worse dream come true. Sarydove ensured the Bright Eagles and most of the borderlands with Teydu were peaceful for almost twenty-six years. Like her mother, Sarydove would fall in battle and her daughters were there; Maeradove and Rathadove were commanding the flanks of the Blood Wings as a combined Teyduian force tried to enter Jechran. In a strange and very honorable moment, after the battle which was a horrible stalemate of heavy losses and no gains; each force broke of the will to attack again. The one that fell Sarydove, returned her to Jechran to be honored. The unknown warrior was allowed to retain his ax and armor for the deed and traveled back safely to his camp.
Maeradove and Rathadove would lead the Blood Wings for near some forty-nine year; almost all of it peaceful with just little skirmishes and raids. Of note; The Bright Eagles leader Esletha, the great-niece of Sabellis by her eldest sister; had yet to give birth to a daughter but had given birth to three boys. Esletha petitioned Myleah for help as she led the tribe. Which Myleah sent a quad of priestess and a breeder of great renown. For thirteen months the quad and breeder were in the main village. She had been with child sent the fifth month and all signs and omens pointed to a daughter. In a twisted fate, Esletha daughter Marriara was stillborn and given a funeral for a great hero. Two years later, the quad returned with another breeder that had blessed six other women all with daughters. Marriara was with child almost instantly and in her eight month, labor started too soon and Esletha and her daughter perished after days of labor. Maeradove would petition Myleah to absorb the Bright Eagles into the Blood Wings but was told the Blood Wings were not a tribe by a Warband. Myleah announced the Bright Eagles dead by lack of daughter. In the uncertainty that followed Maeradove and her lover, Lisvis departed for southern lands away from Jechran. Rathadove would plead with Myleah and in return, the Blood Wings were now seen as a tribe; with Rathadove as their leader. Their lands reduced by two thirds but tribute paid by the surrounding tribes for the service of seeing the border protected. Rathadove would have one daughter and no other children; Sandove. Given birth to Sandove almost took her life and since she had been blessed with a daughter, she was content. She would train Sandove in the ways of the Blood Wings as she and her sister were. Rathadove died at the age believed to be around her ninety-fifth year and in her sleep.
Sandove the reckless as she would be known as. From the moment of her mother's death, she only made one good choice and that was the selection of a breeder almost instantly. Nine months later she gave birth to Wysadove and left her in the care of the fellow Blood Wings and led the rest one misadventure to another invading Tyedu again and again. She is said to have been killed at the Battle of Four Springs. A needless battle but a victory for the Blood Wings. After the battle, the Blood Wings gathered up their falling leader and retreated back into Jechran. The Blue Foxes near wiped out did not follow. In the interim, the Blood Wings were led by Wysadove in Myleah's eyes but in reality, there was no leader. Everyone did as they needed and helped each other. The border was secure and their land flourish.
Wysadove refused to take leadership until she had proven herself. Like the 'Mother of Doves' herself. Wysadove set out with nothing and returned weeks later but not with a Jechera tooth as proof of her worth. Instead, she entered the village wearing a lion's mane and carrying a bloody wooden spear. She oversaw possibly the most peaceful history of the Blood Wings. For almost forty years the border was quiet and life was good. In this time, she took many breeders and birthed many boys and three daughters. Soldove, Luradove, and Wolsuldove. Soldove would in time seek Myleah and earned her place at the High Temple leading the guards. Luradove, would take to the seas and rumored to have charted many islands. She departed to Myleah with a small fleet of tribal ships to aid the Southern lands when Drotid attacked and is rumored to have been captured and killed along with many others. Wolsuldove would rise to power in the wake of her mother's possible death. Wysadove died in battle wearing her lion's mane and leading the Blood Wings against their mortal foes the Blue Foxes at the Battle of Two Creeks. Where Wolsuldove herself is said to have slain twenty-three warriors before no one seeing her. She was not among the dead or wounded. Even attempts to contact the Blue Foxes via proxies proved she was not taken captive to their knowledge. All that is known she was not there at the end.
Wolsuldove, would lead from her teen years until her death. Always on the hunt for her mother's whereabouts and capturing Blue Foxes for questioning before giving them the sword and death. Blue Foxes banded with their allies and attacked. Wolsuldove was ready and in three bloody battles did what it took Sarydove the One Arm eight battles to achieve. She broke the Blue Foxes of the will and return to Jechran. There she was given breeders but only accepted one. Kevovar, he was called and believed to have been captured at sea by another tribe. She only breeds with him once and nine months later she would give birth to Suldove and Ravadove. After that Kevovar was escorted back to where he was given. Believing these were blessed days with her twins, she wasn't watching the eastern borders. The Blue Foxes had a new ally, 'The Circle' and in the eight years after the battle of that broke the Blue Foxes; they struck back with vengeance all along the border. Battles at Shallow Valley, Sunny Creek, and others were just the start. Wolsuldove's word would descend into darkness at the Battle of Thick Trees. Where 'The Circle' flanked the Blood Wings and attacked the extreme rear where the camps were. In the action that followed, several families were killed, healers and the twin's guard was killed while defending the eight-year-olds and Ravadove was killed in a brutal fashion. Suldove was taken and never seen again by her mother. Which led to countless and at times almost reckless battles led by Wolsuldove. Which went through the rest of the season and into the winter until the lands were not suitable for fighting. As spring thawed the lands. Wulsuldove led the Blood Wings into the bloodiest and most one-sided battle ever. The Battle of Frozen Creek destroyed the Blood Wings. Wolsuldove and some two hundred plus Blood Wings fought the Blue Foxes and 'The Circle' at a frozen creek inside the lands of Tyedu. Only six Blood Wings escaped the onslaught that they faced.
After the battle of Frozen Creek, Myleah saw the Blood Wings dissolved. The few remaining members went to other tribal leaders and Myleah itself called for combined forces to push back the threat by the Blue Foxes and others along the border. Just as was done in the days before the Blood Wings.

Written Accounts of Oral History
Upon joining the Ashen Order of the Stars and finding herself in Mikona more often before being assigned Elysia. She discovered the Tower University and began reading about the south and its histories. During her studies, she met Ophiviel; also a foreigner to the south. They spoke of what they were seeing in the south and also what they saw and experienced from the lands they came from. Ophiviel was very much taken with the tales told to her as not many Jechranicans or Tyeduians make their way south. As they spoke over weeks and months, Sul'Dove trued in Ophiviel some of the stories of her people and tribes; the Blood Wings of Jechran, to whom she was born and would have one day led. The Blue Foxes, who had taken her as a prize and raised her into a young adult by.
