Miriel Hana, at a time Miriel Hana Xilo'rulithii, is a familiar figure in Visimontium from the early days of the Holy City of Andrinor - the middle of the XXII<small>nd</small> century after the Age of Peace. She still is very young for an elf, keeping her hair cut short in a boyish manner. Once silver, her hair has now turned mostly white, as a bitter counterpoint of her youth. Of late, she has been known to dye it a quaint shade of metalic rose red.
Miriel Hana, at a time Miriel Hana Xilo'rulithii, is a public figure in Visimontium from the early days of the Holy City of Andrinor - the middle of the XXII<small>nd</small> century after the Age of Peace. She is a chronicler and longtime of the City's law enforcement and standing army, until finally departing north in 2235. While her own historical significance in Visimontium and beyond is yet to be evaluated, this text focuses on her personality.

Miriel is skinny and unusually pale, if quick to blush. Those who chance a glimpse at her bare skin at night can see it gleam in the moonlight as if mother-of-pearl. Her delicate teeth, snow white, appear to be unnaturally sharpened. Miriel's face usually bears an expresionless mask, even in her most emotional moments. Her argentine eyes display hues of ice and steel, sharpened further by her intense stare.
In the recollection of Hebrin from the Order of the Dragon, Miriel is still is very young for an elf, keeping her hair cut short in a boyish manner. Once silver, her hair has turned mostly white, as a bitter counterpoint of her youth. During her last years in the City, Miriel has been known to dye her hair a quaint shade of metalic rose red, according to the Ice Witch.

Strong as her presence might be, Miriel has a reputation for her ability to approach quietly, often remaining completely unnoticed until such time that she chooses to step in the foreground. Despite the impression of frailty about her body, she can surprise the onlookers with lightning fast reflexes, physical versatility and endurance. The petite woman can take a punishment but something in her slight frame suggests that she might just as well deliver it.
A portrait of Miriel by Janur, circa 2210, presents her with her student Helene, both in formal dress. The painting reveals Miriel to be unusually pale and notably smaller than the average elven female. This is emphasized all the more by her imposing staff wrought of dark steel and onyx, topped with a crystal skull head. Miriel's own face bears an expressionless mask. Her argentine eyes display hues of ice and steel, sharpened further by her intense stare.

Miriel walks the streets of Visimontium wearing the light red and black uniform of a Sentinel officer. She might also be spotted in the pristine robe of a Magus of the White Order of the Light. Apart from this formal attire, her wardrobe includes elegant, if austere cuts of clothing of her own making. When the occassion demands a more formal approach, Miriel wears pearls. At almost all times a faint scent of wintermint follows her.
In Janur's painting, Miriel is wearing a modest silver necklace adorned by a small bright ruby. Delaroweil of Silver Fall, the artisan behind most of Miriel's jewelry, claims no hand in it. Miriel has been noted in the Avlissian South also for an eclectic wardrobe of her own design, the reptile scale gown portrayed by Janur being a notable example.

Miriel has preserved one element from her more frivolous fashion past, that being her collection of boots. They are of varying heel height, making it tricky to pinpoint her actual stature at a glance. She appears to be 4'10" or less at about 90 lbs; notably smaller than the average elven female. This is emphasised all the more by her imposing staff wrought of dark steel and onyx, topped with a crystal skull head.
In the streets of Visimontium, however, Miriel has mostly appeared in the her light red and black uniform of a officer, seldom a Trust member robe (changing from Ashen, to Blue, and eventually White). At her farewell with the City, many have seen the scar crossing her left palm, acting as a dividing line for the insignia of Ra-Ghul inked in her skin. The palm of her right hand bears a replica of Andrinor's Mark, usually found on a Trust mage's right shoulder.

Miriel is seen wearing the holy periapt of Andrinor openedly; That or a modest silver necklace adourned by a small bright ruby which she appears to be unusually fond of. A scar crosses her left hand's palm inside, acting as the dividing line for the stylized image of Ra-Ghul's masked face inked therein. The palm of her right hand bears a replica of Andrinor's Mark, usually found on a Trust mage's right shoulder.
Miriel's voice is a light alto prone to a soft rasp, to Arania Moondshadow's estimate. From their time with Miriel as their Sentinel mentor, Selash of the Green and Vanar of the White recall this soft rasp pitching into a shrill croak, when she would bark a command. Miriel's own Sentinel mentor, General Marshal Fealith, does not deny her short temper.

Miriel's voice is a light alto, prone to a soft rasp which quickly becomes a croak in the rare case when she speaks aloud. As of present day, she uses solely gestures and no words to cast spells. Her movements while spellcasting are somewhat restrained, forceful, carried out with painstaking concentration. She is known for her use of a melodious semblance to the Drangonari language.
In the South, Miriel's voice has mostly been heard in Avlis Tower University lectures. "I do not think myself a wizard" are Miriel's own words, much to the dismay of Ialath, now sole owner of The Retreat. A Fatespinner theoretician, Miriel uses solely gestures and no words to cast spells. Her movements while spellcasting are somewhat restrained, forceful, carried out with painstaking concentration.

Those who can recognise it may also be able to discern her origin, as Miriel visibly differs from most Avlissian elves.

Miriel is also remembered for employing a melodious semblance to the Drangonari language. Those who can recognize it may also be able to discern her origin, as Miriel visibly differs from most Avlissian elves. Since her marriage to the Psion Eudaimon Dawnblade in 2230, Miriel has kept tight-lipped on her personal life, past and present.

A small but no negligible part of Miriel's presence is her familiar: Lomion, a diminutive fruit bat, also known as "library bat". This otherwise docile animal has become infamous for an unhealthy inclination towards sugary foods and beverages, causing it to fly amok.
